In November 2015, we agreed to sit down at Moon Palace with a "Agent" while on a family vacation. After 60 minutes of negotiating, with a starting price of $70,000, we left with 20 weeks for a total of $6800.00.

This price also included 2 round trip tickets from our state with no expiration period. The package we agreed too includes everything else that I have read that most owners also receive. We have used three weeks in Cancun at Playacar and Moon Palace, and we have not had any issues except the normal try and buy this or that. We have been able to choose our own dates and scheduling was not difficult, just make sure you know your dates, and ask the appropriate questions.

We have just left after 10 days (we also just used the extra 3 days) the cost was about $3200 or so. My recommendation is just be respectful and just tell them your on vacation and you are not buying anything else, (you do not have to sit through the 90 minute session each year, DO NOT DO IT) we have not done it any of the times. UNPLUG YOUR PHONE THE NIGHT YOU ARRIVE, THEY WILL CALL YOUR ROOM THE NEXT MORNING TRYING TO GET YOU TO COME DOWN TO THE LOBBY TO LISTEN. THIS HAS BEEN TESTED THREE TIMES AND WHEN WE GO TO HE LOBBY THE NEXT DAY AFTER WAKING UP, GUESS WHAT THEY ALWAYS SAY WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH YOU, VERY FUNNY.

We have not been to Jamaica, have visited Cozumel, and Le Blanq. Our choice is Playacar Palace because of the closeness to 5th AVE. Good news is that Playacar will be going through a full remodel from August 2017 to December 2017.

So in general negotiate your *** off to get a lower total price, because Ido not see the value of the Elite or Premier over just purchasing weeks, we can upgrade to any room we want as well anytime we go. Don't over pay for the Palace Resorts, you can get the same service cheaper.
