On our way back Oct 30, 2014. This will be our 4th trip to Mexico, 3rd trip via Palace resorts - with both a "premier" and "elite" membership. We had an excellent experience our first trip and my husband bought the "package" hook , line and sinker.

By the way we went down and stayed "3" weeks, each week at a different place resort.

Our last trip we wound up being told how "extremely" important we attend another meeting the very next morning of our arrival. Tired but anxious because we wanted the "necessary" updates; we dragged ourselves to the am meeting. We were going to be in Mexico 2 weeks and at 2 palace resorts. We began at the Adventura.

Exhausted and not clearly having control my husband bought the "Elite" membership like it was radially important to add another "80 elite weeks" to an existing 50 "premire" week membership. Something my insides were churning saying "NO"

WE DON'T HAVE ANY MORE Employment INCOME, we are on a fixed social security income and this purchase will deplete our small savings. Mind you my husband was 64 I was 65.

I kept saying, please stop, we really have very little savings and only social security.

PRESSURE took over and their battle was won. I resolved myself to the fact we just spent a large portion of our small nest egg. BUT look on the bright side I had 2 round trip air fare and 2 more weeks to experience the Palace Resorts!.

I was so disappointed with myself for NOT having any clout in dissuading my husband that I may have found a LOT of reasons to be dissatisfied with our 2 weeks.

Every little thing we had come to enjoy (as in our prior 3 weeks) was lacking, dissappointing, discussting.

The list begins with NO OPENINGS for our spa treatments! People who did not attend the meeting even said they were having issues trying to "schedule" spa treatments and excursions.

Little things like the small stuff formerly in our room was missing, toothbrushes, cream and "wash cloths!" (Sorry mam but with the Adventura going through change to a Hard Rock we do not have a lot of little things we formerly provided "LIKE WAS CLOTHS!"

The entertainment seemed 4th rate, the food wasn't as appealing (probably good I didn't gain any weight).

And getting transportation (and being able to get in our 2 trips) was a joke!

And this was JUST OUR FIRST WEEK!

(No one informed us prior to arriving or when I made reservations that due to this Tremendous construction projects this would be so disappointing. I felt like it was a 1 star resort and WE JUST BUT 80 MORE WEEKS.

Our 2nd week we moved into Cancun and at the Beach Palace.

By now I am so upset, can't tell you ALL THE DETAILS, I did send in a list to the corporate offices, the Adventura hotel had my "critiques" and NO ONE EVERY RESPONDED TO ONE CRITICISM!

The 2nd week was also dissappointing but I resigned myself TO stop finding so much wrong - I am NOT RAINING my week and I did take and send in less criticism. After all I did have wash cloths! Not enough little shampoo and again no toothbrush but I had already bought one from the gift shop at Adventura.

Okay fast forward to 2014, August. I am due to fly out on the 30th of October and I am going to Expect "5 star" treatment.

I am trying to "pre schedule" spa treatments, pedicures, manicures, (all because we couldn't the 1st week last trip).

I am sitting her frustrated because I can not locate the website that I have been informed last trip, existed. That is why everyone was "booked" full, people schedule these benefits prior to arrival (at least a minimum of 30 days)

Instead I cam acrOSS this website and the comment which describes how I feel, felt and they put it down in very concise description depicting exactly MY FEELINGS.

the ONLY thing I am sorry about is: "how I never thought I"d be able to get Out of the situation and contracts my husband n I signed."

LOL I can do is use the airline tickets and 2 weeks as the WILL expire by November 15 2014! So that explains why we are heading down foe 2 weeks leaving on 10/30 from Boise, Idaho. Our first week is Playa d Carman (may spelled wrong) near Cozumel.

Our 2nd week will be the Sun Palace.

I sincerely hope that there will not be any inconveniences, the quality is back and the food is "not just acceptable" but "great".

Same with entertainment and transportation.

After we have given this company one whole year living income for Our 50 Premier weeks and another whole year income for "80" Elite weeks.

I am 67 and I doubt we will have air fare and the "membership cost to stay ever again.

I am not wishing life to end but I do not forsee ever being able to vacation again.

SO DON'T BE TAKING - ANY BODY CAN AFFORD Complete 5 star vacations with out toss in over nearly $40,000. Just to be a MEMBER and get a reduced "all inclusive" vacation.

The older I get the more ashamed how good people like my husband and I, who both worked very hard at low paid employment, gets swept off there feet by scams, the stock market, the corporation that we dedicated and gave of ourself to work for the evil dollar, and it's so easily manipulated out of our hands.

I EMBRACE the idea that THIS IS NOT MY ENDING, but I will go to an everlasting better place. And I belive in karma. ....

So air travel is important to obtain before signing up for a week, be sure your airline reservation is exchangeable, too. COSTCO vary with Dates requested.

I would recommend you look at what part of the vacation you enjoyed. This is now an investment and by putting it down you are making it worth less.

Look into using the referral program. It is not difficult to use and you can sell some of the weeks you have for needed money. Start at "rent my vacation.com" and see what others are doing with the same investment you have made. A good one to look at is pippinsvacation.com.

You can get some of you income back and get free weeks with a little time and organizational skills.

I have enjoyed every trip. Not everything there is for me but I have fun.

We have been given a ton of resort credits. Where can we use them on my trip to Nizuc.

Sunrise and Moon Grande resorts hopefully this will be explained to me upon arriving in Cancun at these dates .

I have one week to be there, I really hope pick up at airport is on reasonable time.

I am booked in at Nizuc this trip. Love the renovations and lounge area at front entrance is beautiful 2
